Responsibilities:

  • Lead a site supervision team in monitoring of works, detailed documentation of records and accurate reporting to relevant parties involved.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project via execution onsite in conjunction with the design objectives.
  • Fully support and advise all associated project teams during their reconnaissance.
  • Prepare report and attend/ lead site/ project meetings.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to resolve design or construction issues, ensuring all engineering challenges are met with appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain proper documentation, including project drawings, specifications, site reports, inspection records, and change orders of the project.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations at all times.
  • Identify and resolve any technical, operational, or logistical challenges that may arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruptions to project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Sarawakian, preferably.
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 8 to 10 years of working experience in supervision of C&S works.
  • Registered with BEM (Compulsory) (PE or PEPC is an added advantage).
  • Good report writing and technical knowledge.
  • Good planning, supervisory, coordination, interpersonal skills and able to manage and lead a Project Site Office and team.
  • Good communication skills, able to liaise with Client, Contractor, Local Authorities and relevant parties.
  • Possess a driving license.

Ability to relocate: Miri/ Betong. Could relocate before starting work (preferred).
