JOB DETAILS:

  • Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia
  • Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in a hybrid work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
  • Duration: March to June 2025

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a highly motivated Server Debug Engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role:

  • We will train you on AMD Server CPU Architecture
  • We will involve you in Server CPU debug/validation activities
  • We will assign you to work on Server CPU debug/tools
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Writing code to improve and enhance debug tools
    • Assisting senior debug engineer in day-to-day debug/validation activities

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong fundamentals in digital/analog electronics
  • Strong understanding of processor architecture (X86, MIPS, ARM, RISC-V, etc)
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python
  • Experience with Linux operating system
  • Familiarity with modern high-speed interconnects like PCIe, USB, DDR is a bonus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or any equivalent qualification.
