Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for carrying out research, teaching, and administration within the school/department scope.
  2. To teach in the areas allocated by the Head of Academic/Head of School.
  3. Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
  4. To assist in developing learning materials and schemes of work and monitor student progress, achievement, and attendance.
  5. Participate in developing, administering, and marking exams and other assessments.
  6. Maintain professional relationships with all students and be able to provide pastoral care and support to students, such as graduate program supervisor.
  7. Contribute to the department, school, faculty, working groups, or committees as requested by the Head of Academic/Head of School/Dean.
  8. To maintain own continuing professional development.

Requirements:

  1. The candidate must hold a Doctorate (PhD) in Accounting or a related field and a Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance.
  2. Able to teach subjects related to Financial Accounting / Taxation / Advanced Taxation / Accounting Theory and Fintech.
  3. Possessing professional membership in accounting-related bodies will be an advantage.
  4. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with strong written and spoken English command.
  5. Possesses initiative, the ability to think independently, and a passion for academic excellence.
