Job Responsibilities:
  1. IFRS Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions and reporting are in compliance with IFRS standards. Stay updated on changes in IFRS and implement necessary adjustments to internal procedures.
  2. Account Closing: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing processes. Ensure all entries are accurate, complete, and posted in a timely manner.
  3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Present financial reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and trends.
  4. Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  5. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address any findings promptly.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  7. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and legal requirements.
  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and provide guidance on accounting matters.
What we're looking for:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on IFRS, account closing, and financial reporting.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting. Familiarity with GAAP is a plus.
  5. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  6. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  7. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
