- Oversee finance operations for legal entities without local finance support.
- Manage and execute the month-end closing process in collaboration with the SSC RTR team.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
- Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Serve as an approver in the procurement process and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and local regulatory requirements with support from local consultants.
- Oversee timely submission of tax filings and compliance with local tax regulations, supported by external consultants.
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial finance environment.
- An estimated salary range of MYR 120,000 - MYR 144,000
