Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 24/7 remote network monitoring and management to ensure continuous operational stability.
  • Address networking issues related to corporate and shared network environments, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Lead the resolution of high-priority (P1/P2) incidents, coordinating the troubleshooting and break-fix processes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to resolve operational issues and execute projects, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Provide ongoing hardware support and maintenance for all networking components to maintain optimal performance.
  • Manage and monitor both existing and new network solutions, ensuring stability and minimal downtime.
  • Lead and support various projects, including site expansion, hardware refresh, and technology upgrades as required.
  • Address escalated issues from L1/L2 teams, providing timely resolutions and ensuring continuous service delivery.
  • Document outages and service disruptions, conducting thorough incident reporting for transparency and accountability.
  • Identify corrective actions for critical incidents, driving them to resolution through the Problem Management process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess needs and build solutions that align with operational and business requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with change control processes for network changes.
  • Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support on change management tasks and daily responsibilities.
  • Monitor network event logs and services proactively, identifying potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Participate in scheduled network change calls, ensuring clear communication regarding network availability and impact.
  • Ensure smooth shift handovers, providing timely updates and clear communication for the incoming team.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or any other bachelor's degree.
  • 8-10 years of Enterprise / Telecom Network infrastructure relevant experience.
  • Experience in core data center & Campus networking technologies is mandatory (WAN, wireless would be an added advantage).

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge on network troubleshooting for Large Data Centers, Large WAN/Network environment.
  • Good knowledge and experience on Routing, Switching, Wireless, load balancers, WAN optimizers, DNS, DHCP, VXLAN, VPN.
  • Good knowledge on automation / scripting and ability to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Expert level knowledge in at least one of the cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Knowledge in working with SDWAN products (SilverPeak).
  • Expert level Knowledge/experience on network device administration (Cisco, Aruba, HPE, F5 LTM/GTM, Riverbed, Aruba Wireless, Fiber optic skills, MPLS/WAN/LAN management).
  • Expert level knowledge in working with various routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF.
  • Hand-On experience working with a large Infoblox and Aruba ClearPass deployment.
  • Expert level knowledge with various protocols such as VRRP, HSRP, STP, LACP, SNMP.
  • Productivity Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
  • Possess good understanding of infrastructure management processes; knowledge on ITIL framework.

Soft Skills:

  • Detailed, oriented with excellent communication skills (written & oral) particularly the ability to communicate with staff who aren't technically trained.
  • Presentation skills, quick learner, self-initiated, team player, open to work in shifts to support and monitor the Global Network Infrastructure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed to work with various levels of technical staff members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to execute against deadlines.
  • Work with internal customers in managing requests/changes/incidents for your areas of work.
  • Work with global teams to provide support and complete IT projects.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, constructive and positive attitude.

Certifications:

  • CCNP Certification would be an added advantage.
