In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional Mandarin language support and education to our young learners, ensuring they develop strong communication skills in this important language.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering engaging Mandarin language lessons to children aged 3-6 years old
  • Developing and implementing age-appropriate Mandarin curriculum and teaching materials
  • Assisting children with Mandarin language practice and providing personalised feedback
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to integrate Mandarin language learning across all educational activities
  • Maintaining detailed records of student progress and communicating with parents regularly
  • Attending professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your Mandarin language expertise

What we're looking for

  • Native or near-native Mandarin language proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Mandarin to young children in a structured learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners
  • Strong pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of effective language teaching methodologies
  • Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, linguistics or a related field
