Talent & Succession Management Assistant Manager at Saint-Gobain

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Responsible to oversee daily basis and review manufacturing processes for Sofraden, offline, wetline and sand plant if necessary.
  2. Supervising the daily production activity, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
  3. Supervising operator, ensuring health and safety codes are followed, training workers in the responsible use of machinery in proper manner, identifying problems in the production line and carry out corrective action.
  4. To prepare daily, weekly and month report based on data collection and analysis if necessary.
  5. Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
  6. To support M3 related task daily basis.
  7. To evaluate the weight trend record for each product, product speed, material loss based actual and planning.
  8. To coordinate between contractor on project work arrangement and calibration during side visit.
  9. To prepare the job scope, request quotation, analysing the cost and evaluate the risk each project and calibration.
  10. To collaborate with maintenance team to keep at high standard of equipment and efficiency for any issue related.
  11. To monitor in and out of material daily basis to avoid interruption of production process.
  12. To record, monitor and overview OEE Web and do analysis of trend.
  13. To assist arrangement stock count for material, finish goods and sand plant.

Requirements:

  1. Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline with 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing industry - Mechanical based but Electrical knowledge essential.
  2. Experience, and the willingness to have a hands-on approach.
  3. Experience in quality engineering.
  4. Be a team player, comfortable working in a small team and building strong professional relationships.
  5. Have a proactive approach to work and be good at problem solving and suggesting new ideas.
