Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and Improve Processes: Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  2. Design and Implement Systems: Develop and implement new production systems and tools, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  3. Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements and ensure smooth execution of manufacturing processes.
  4. Conduct Research and Testing: Perform research and tests on product designs and manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  5. Process Control: Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures to maintain consistent quality and performance.
  6. Training and Support: Train staff on new processes and provide ongoing support and feedback.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  8. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve any issues that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: A degree in engineering or a related field, such as chemical engineering or industrial engineering.
  2. Experience: Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, including quality control, process improvement, and continuous improvement.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
