Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with creative/art director, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, web/app developers and marketing specialists to produce high quality final artwork;
- Meet clients or account managers to discuss the objectives and requirements of the job;
- Interpret the client's business needs and develop creative concept to suit their purpose;
- Estimate the time required to complete the work and provide quotes for clients;
- Develop comprehensive design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
- Use innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
- Present finalized ideas and concepts to art/creative director/clients/account managers;
- Contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
- Develop illustrative concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts;
- Work on layouts and artwork pages ready for print;
- Develop interactive design;
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs;
- Able to work under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment whilst maintaining quality.
