Overseeing the full spectrum of finance duties, including banking & treasury; accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis, cash flow management, and assisting in business decision-making for the operation of the company.

Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as online banking, invoicing, and other transactions.
  2. Oversee own department employees.
  3. Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  4. Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  5. Review costing, financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  6. Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
  7. Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
  8. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  9. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
  10. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
Requirements:
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/ACCA/CIMA/MIA or equivalent.
  2. At least 6-8 year(s) of working experience in a managerial position is required for this position.
  3. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to strategize and solve problems.
  4. Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst.
  6. Proficient user of finance software.
  7. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  8. Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  9. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  10. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  11. Working experiences with listed companies will be added advantages.
