About the role

We are currently looking for experienced SMAS Analyst (Specialized Management Accounting Service).

This role will mainly be responsible for the delivery of Management Accounting processes to Consumer Supply Chain Sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that management accounting activities are carried out in a robust and efficient manner and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Participate in Continuous improvement processes.
  • Drive for excellence in management accounting processes.
  • Perform monthly closing processes and perform analysis of financial and operational performance including trends and variances on inventory and profit and loss.
  • Ensure that the Supply Chain Sites' Actual performance is accounted for and reported in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Partner with Site Finance to review results, whilst ensuring full compliance with HALEON and external accounting policies.
  • Actively support continuous improvements, driving for standardization and improved performance.
  • Operate according to agreed processes and in compliance with HALEON policies and procedures.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree or professional accounting qualifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment, production accounting, and product costing is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Expert level PC skills and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in SAP and Cadency is preferred.
