Engineer III

Responsible to maintain the production test equipment and transfer the product from AEFC engineering or to other AE manufacture site. The position will provide or update the Product Test Plan, including SPC Parameters, the Transfer Plan, the Equipment List, and the Capacity Plan. Test Engineer also provides complete automated or semi-automated tests. Furthermore, Test Engineer provides fully released documentation for the tests, including test specifications, test software specification/architecture, released BOM's for test system and test fixtures, preventive maintenance procedure, test hardware drawings and schematics, and training documents. Finally, Test Engineer builds the test fixtures and test systems to meet the capacity plan ramp, performs the TFMEA, qualifies the test systems, automates SPC reporting, and releases the test software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for maintaining the test equipment/fixture, supporting the product transfer and other projects assigned.
2. Prepares test plan, test procedure, test fixture drawing and other test documentation.
3. Design and build the test fixture/test system to support the production testing.
4. Develop the automated or semi-automated tests to improve the efficiency and quality of production line.
5. Develop the SPC and GR&R plan, provide the SPC and GR&R analysis reporting.
6. Duplicate the test fixture to support the product transfer and meet the capacity plan ramp.
7. Conduct TPM on test equipment and fixture, provide corrective action to increase the reliability of the test system.
8. Training the test technician according to test procedure and test software.
9. Develop the Labview software for the test station.
10. Responsible for test equipment and fixture calibration and preventive maintenance.
11. Perform TFMEA, qualify the test system, release the test software and test documentation.
12. Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.
13. Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Works in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing lab environment.
2. Also works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).
3. Also need works on the production line or Labs to maintain the test equipment and fabricate the test fixture.
4. Overtime may be necessary in times of increased demand.
5. Travel to international locations may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent Labview skills.
2. Knowledge of power supply test theory and method.
3. Familiar with general test equipment.
4. Excellent analytical skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Excellent knowledge of the electronic circuit.
7. Great team work spirit.

EXPERIENCE:

1. 2-3 years test engineer experience in electronic company.
2. Test engineer experience in power supply company.
3. Electronic circuit troubleshooting skills.

EDUCATION:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience and/or education.
