Senior Project Engineer/ Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the key customers or projects to ensure smooth project introduction and operation.
• Provide some technical training and guidance for project engineers.
• Utilize project management processes to import new projects.
• Collect, check and interpret customer documents, understand customer requirements, and ensure relevant functional departments understand product requirements in manufacturing, quality, testing, packaging, and shipping.
• Create and maintain BOM and materials.
• Confirm electronic parts, structural parts, packaging materials to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Follow up the progress of new project import preparations.
• Summarize trial run issues and follow up to ensure smooth mass production.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with EMS (ODM, OEM, JDM) operation mode.
• Familiar with project management professional process (PMP).
• Familiar with SMT, DIP, test, ASSY, reliability test.
• Rich knowledge of electronic components, plastic hardware, and packaging materials.
• Proficient in MS OFFICE, CAD (UG, ProE), CAM350 software, with SAP/MRP, ISO16969 system, etc.

Senior Equipment Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the production of furnace temperature plate and the debugging of equipment parameters during the introduction of new products in the wave soldering process.
2. Carry out the repair and maintenance of wave soldering equipment operation in accordance with TPM requirements.
3. Prepare operation guidelines and inspection forms for equipment and tools.
4. Maintain, program, and debug peripheral equipment, forming machines, and fixtures.
5. Collect spare parts model and specification information of each equipment in the back end section.
6. Maintain various tools, such as soldering iron, heat gun, electric batch, adhesive paper machine, etc.
7. Conduct risk assessment of equipment and line body when the layout of the workshop is adjusted.
8. Plan PM maintenance of various equipment, lines, and tools.
9. Propose improvements to replace labor with equipment and promote implementation.
10. Modify equipment and tooling tools, rapid line changeover, and improvement planning and implementation to meet the requirements of small batch and multiple varieties.
11. Promote cost down activity.
12. Manage safety and fire safety related affairs.
13. Other work arranged by the company.

Job Requirements

1. Familiar with PCBA and BA processes in electronics factories.
2. At least 3 years of relevant equipment maintenance and management experience.
3. Familiar with the working principle of general electromechanical equipment in electronics factory.
4. Understand the structure and working principle of ordinary wave soldering and selective wave soldering, have the ability to quickly repair, and possess considerable knowledge of wave soldering process.
5. Ability to innovate and survey and map, making long-term improvements to non-standard equipment.
6. Team leadership skills to guide the maintenance team in daily and periodic maintenance.
7. Good communication skills for internal communication and correspondence with customers.
8. Proficient in using CAD, Solidworks, Pro/E, and Microsoft Office software.
9. Problem-solving skills, communication, and team building.
10. Lean knowledge.
11. IATF16949 and 5 core tools.

Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities

• Define and establish product configuration and process flow/control and its documented work instruction.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
• Lead engineering activities to establish CAPA and root cause analysis in the event of product quality issues, low yield, product failure, etc.
• Prepare manufacturing cost during RFQ state, process cycle time; qualification and validation, prepare process control plan and DFM study.
• Responsible for manufacturing process flow layout for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities.
• Manage product packaging configuration and define production in-direct material use.
