Role Purpose(s)

As a Finance Executive, his/her core responsibility is to manage accounts payable functions efficiently. He/She will be handling invoice processing, bank payments, intercompany transactions, and maintain audit schedules. Additionally, he/she ensures compliance with policies, support audits, and contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Managing Accounts Payable: To handle the organization's payables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and bills.
  2. Financial Record Keeping: To maintain accurate records, reconcile statements, and verify expense reports.
  3. Payment Processing: To ensure invoices and employees' claims are paid promptly while adhering to departmental procedures.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Responsible for all accounts payable related functions.
  2. Perform the AP tasks such as verifying and posting the PRs, GRPOs, and vendors invoices.
  3. Process employees' claims and AP bank payments.
  4. Handle the intercompany billings and intercompany transfers.
  5. Perform monthly accruals and provisions and maintain the respective schedules.
  6. Maintain prepayment schedules.
  7. Maintain the fixed assets schedule.
  8. Maintain CAPEX listings.
  9. Maintain petty cash reports.
  10. Perform monthly depreciation and amortization.
  11. Perform vendor SOA reconciliations.
  12. Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  13. Prepare quarterly GST reporting.
  14. Follow up closely on all the AP related inquiries.
  15. Follow up closely on bank unreconciled items.
  16. Ensure all payments comply with company policies.
  17. Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
  18. Support internal and external audits related to AP.
  19. Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  1. Accountancy or professional accountancy qualification (minimum ACCA level 2 completed).

Working Experience Requirements

  1. At least 2-3 years of commercial experience, preferably with full set experience.

Skills Required

  1. Strong in systems/applications as well as MS Office (preferably with experience in SAP B1).
  2. Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to cope with changes and challenges are essential.
  3. Able to write, read, and speak English and Chinese.
