Operate a compactor roller safely and efficiently at construction sites.

Perform compaction work for soil, road base, sub-base, backfilling, and other construction materials.

Operate the roller according to the site requirements and instructions from the Site Supervisor.

Ensure proper compaction and maintain the required level and quality of the work.

Conduct daily inspection of the machine before operation and report any defects or abnormalities.

Carry out basic cleaning and routine maintenance of the roller.

Follow all safety procedures, site rules, and instructions at all times.

Coordinate with the site team and other plant operators during construction activities.

Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the equipment.

Perform other duties related to roller operation and construction work as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a compact roller in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Valid Class H driving licence.
  • Able to operate a vibratory roller/compactor safely and confidently.
  • Experience in roadwork, earthwork, or civil construction is an advantage.
  • Familiar with basic machine inspection and routine maintenance.
  • Must be physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required by the project.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a construction team.
  • Experience working on large infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
