Your Contribution
  • Implement the prescribed sourcing strategies in terms of prices and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure that purchasing targets/KPI's appointed by and agreed with the superior are met.
  • Continuously analyze and develop for assigned material groups/material cluster the sourcing markets and the requirements/demand of internal clients.
  • Support strategic purchasers through knowledge/information according to regional market circumstances and new developments.
  • Ensure the punctual and accurate processing of contracts and orders in accordance with the SCHOTT purchasing guideline, including order post-processing and master data administration; review prices, terms of payment and delivery, maintain supplier-related agreements in accessible databases.
Your Profile
  • 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain Area.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Familiarity with purchasing processes, tools, and systems (e.g. SAP, SPO, e-Commerce).
  • Understanding of internal customer's needs (technical and commercial).
  • Local supply market know-how (technical, commercial).
  • Knowledge of Payment Terms and Incoterms.
  • Skills in Sourcing, Negotiation, Contacting, Ordering Management, and Supplier Management.
  • Project Management, Communication skills, Analytical skills, and ability to promote change.
