Finance ManagerJob Description:
  • Oversee and manage the Finance department, including accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) processes.
  • Lead financial planning and cash flow management for development projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop financial projections.
  • Manage credit control and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Develop and implement efficient financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for projects and the company.
  • Partner with business departments on financial aspects of development launches.
  • Provide insightful accounting, finance, and tax expertise on commercial contracts and financial incentives.
  • Account for and process monthly revenue collection, vendor billings, staff claims, and journal entries.
  • Prepare tax computations, coordinate filing of tax returns, process tax payments, manage withholding tax, etc.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including fixed assets, AP/AR, and project capital expenditures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and management account reporting.
  • Manage year-end closing and submission of financial statements for regulatory compliance and tax purposes.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other professional advisors.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's accounting policies, financial controls, and risk management framework.
  • Manage other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed.
Job Requirement:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of working experience in Finance with good working knowledge of accounting (AP, AR, and GL).
  • Experience in the Real Estate/Property Development Industry would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of credit and financial analysis would be an advantage.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with IFCA software.
  • Determined and adaptable with a positive working attitude.
  • Independent but at the same time able to be a good team player.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
