Job Description
UEM Edgenta Berhad is dedicated to nurturing young talents through our Graduate Trainee Program (GeT). This program is designed to empower graduates with essential skills and hands-on experience to excel in the working landscape. Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.
[Note - Program: Graduate Trainee Program (GeT) under the PROTÉGÉ Program]
Responsibilities:
- Carry out assigned work according to Reliability-Centred Maintenance (Unscheduled/Scheduled/Condition-Based Maintenance) and Sustainability Program, including other disciplines when required.
- Perform maintenance for specialized/complex equipment according to Reliability-Centred Maintenance, especially on assets or facility systems requiring expertise.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities and ensure all data is recorded in the Engineering Operation Data (EOD) module of the Asset and Services Information System (ASIS).
- Request orders for goods as per Service Work (SW) / Service Request (SR) requirements, monitor vendors' work progress, and verify invoices for payment processing.
- Attend and verify Testing & Commissioning and assist in the Asset/Project Registration process for new assets/projects as per requirements.
- Assist and provide technical feedback on maintenance work requiring vendor expertise to the supervisor and monitor the work.
Requirements:
- Fresh Graduate in Diploma specialized in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
