Employment Type: Commences with 6‑month contract basis, with conversion to permanent upon good performance.
Work Days: 6 day work week with alternate Saturdays off
Start Date: Must be able to start immediately upon successful interview
Shop Drawings & Technical Compliance
Evaluate and ensure MEP drawings and installations are consistent with renovation project requirements.
Review, verify, and approve shop drawings.
Ensure drawings align with design intent, specifications, and standards.
Coordinate with design teams to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain documentation and version control of shop drawings.
Project Execution & Site Management
Plan, organize, and supervise construction activities on site, particularly renovation works.
Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
Monitor daily site operations, progress, and resource allocation.
Enforce safety protocols and statutory compliance.
Resolve technical and operational issues promptly.
Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for timely delivery.
Conduct site meetings and progress reviews.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to meet project requirements.
Quality & Compliance
Implement quality assurance and control measures.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.
Conduct inspections and approve completed works.
Verify MEP installations meet safety and performance standards.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare progress reports, site records, and project documentation.
Report project status, risks, and corrective actions to the Group Project Director.
Support tender documentation and project planning as required.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in renovation projects.
Proven track record in managing site operations, subcontractors, and project delivery.
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to prepare and present progress reports and documentation.
