Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the entire Corporate Exercise process, from initial planning and due diligence compliance.
  • Coordinate with investment banks, legal counsel, auditors, and other external advisors.
  • Prepare and review all necessary financial documentation, including prospectuses, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant securities regulations and listing requirements.
  • Manage the due diligence process, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant accounting standards.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting systems.
  • Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management.
  • Manage tax planning and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred. Must be a member of a professional accounting body recognised by MIA.
  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance functions.
  • Prior experience at a Big 6 (or Big 4) accounting firm is mandatory.
  • Preferably to have prior experience working in a public listed company.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or relevant accounting standards and securities regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
