Role Summary

As a member of the Finance Regional Team, the Account Payable, Southeast Asia to handle across Legrand entities in Southeast Asia. She/He ensures strict compliance with local legislation in regards of statutory reporting. She/He will also ensure completion of Group Reporting in accordance with the Group rules and within defined deadlines.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Processes invoices to perform three-way matching.
  2. Manages daily workflows and resolves discrepancies in collaboration with other departments.
  3. Manages monthly expenses claims.
  4. Manages weekly or monthly VAT and withholding tax reports and timely submission.
  5. Manages month-end and year-end closing tasks.
  6. Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and filing system to ensure documents are traceable in an efficient manner.
  7. Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  2. At least 5 years working experience in a related field, with knowledge and experience in accounting.
  3. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of people in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
  4. In-depth knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
  5. Analytical, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently.
  6. Self-disciplined, highly organized, and able to work well under pressure.
  7. Required Skill(s): MS Word, MS Excel, ERP Accounting System.
