Responsibilities:

HR Operations:

  1. Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee records, managing payroll and benefits administration.
  2. Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and regulations through collaboration with government and regulatory agencies, maintaining accurate HR records.
  3. Design, implement, and optimise HR processes tailored to organisational needs.
  4. Provide operational HR support and collaborate across internal departments to fulfill HR requirements.
  5. Design and implement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture, increase engagement, and promote retention.
  6. Support workforce planning, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  7. Manage performance evaluation processes, including goal setting, feedback sessions, and improvement plans.
  8. Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  1. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, direct sourcing, interviews, and offer preparation.
  2. Develop recruitment strategies aligned with business goals, diversity, and inclusion objectives.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with organisational needs.
  4. Actively source top talent using external platforms e.g. LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and networking; we typically do not work with recruitment agencies.
  5. Manage and promote the internal Arcondis Employee Referral Program, leveraging our existing workforce to identify top talents.
  6. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, ensuring cost-effective hiring practices.
  7. Develop innovative recruitment campaigns to attract top talent and strengthen the employer brand.
  8. Track and analyse recruitment data, providing insights to optimise processes and achieve organisational goals.
  9. Align HR and recruitment strategies with company objectives and provide strategic insights to leadership.

Your Profile

  1. Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in HR management (ideally 1-2 years) and talent acquisition (3 years+).
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  4. Experience in the Life Sciences sector and Consulting is advantageous.
  5. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  6. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  8. Knowledge of commonly used HR tools is a plus e.g. SAP, Abacus.
  9. Experience in conducting behavioural and competency-based interviews.
  10. Analytical mindset with experience in recruitment metrics and strategy development.
  11. Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malayu (oral and written).
  12. Proactive, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  13. Agile thinker with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
  14. Team-oriented collaborator with a focus on relationship-building.
  15. Goal-oriented and assertive, with a passion for continuous improvement.
