The Role:
We are currently seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting and helping with the development of our internal and client business portals, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Our web-based portal - runs on top of K8s with 8 microservices + 2 SPAs behind an API gateway, allows our customers to manage the full payments flow, including FX, through an intuitive platform. You will also implement new features and fix bugs by working on our frontend and/or backend codebases as well as writing test cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support our internal and client business portals.
- Implement new features and fix bugs by working on our frontend and/or backend codebases as well as writing test cases.
- Continuously improve/propose new user interaction flows to ensure optimal user experience.
- Ensure the backend integration/APIs are optimal for the performance of the portals
Required Skills & Qualifications
- University degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in React.
- Experience with React test frameworks, like Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, etc.
- Knowledge on CSS, SASS, LESS, or styled components.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good command of English to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and global teams.
- Strong problem-solving and programming abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a distributed team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of node.js and backend development.
- Proficiency in Docker compose, K8s, EKS.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS services.
