The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the implementation and execution of Ad Ops strategies and the day-to-day communication with clients to help achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Crafting of media strategies that align with campaigns goals e.g. customer retention / acquisition, create demand, increase brand consideration, improve conversions.
  • Assessing the suitability and effectiveness of various media platforms (offline and online), especially new and unexplored channels / technologies.
  • Developing holistic and integrated media plans, encompassing offline and online channels, including but not limited to radio, TV, print, out-of-home, digital display, social, mobile, search & programmatic.
  • Interacting with internal and external partners to evaluate, implement, and analyse a media plan.
  • Working with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive post campaign reports that reflect performances, learnings and recommendations.
  • Frequent monitoring and reporting of competitor activities.
  • Responsible to ensure client's contractual obligations for media KPIs is met.

Client Relationship:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the clients' businesses, beyond media and with a clear understanding of business implications.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with other agency partners (Creative, Social, PR, Experiential) to deliver against client's business objectives and campaign requirements.

New Business:

  • As and when needed, to support the Business Director (and / or other teams) on new business pitches.
  • Ensure that planners / assigned staff remain updated and competitive through relevant training and coaching. Coordinate with Business Director on training programs needed by staff.
  • Provide up-to-date assessment and recommendations of managers/assigned staff to Business Director / Management to ensure team overall performance, engagement, and health.

Key Experiences:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with minimum 5 years of experience in Integrated Media Planning, with strong Digital/Performance Marketing background.
  • Versatility and agility to be able to manage working independently with minimal supervision, as well as contribute to team environments.
  • Have worked in media planning or its related fields in XX category and brands, which includes brand management, marketing, account servicing, implementation, and strategic planning.
  • Strong Account Management skills to be able to manage end-to-end media campaign deliverables against client brief from brief response and proposal preparation, media plan and delivery implementation and reporting.
  • Competent in key planning capabilities such as audience segmentation, market research, web analytics, media owner negotiations and creative management.
  • Passionate individual with an outgoing personality, creative thinking and innovation mindset.
  • Proficient in several major offline and online planning tools such as Clear Decisions, Nielsen TAM, Kantar DTAM, AdQuest, comScore, Google / Meta Business Managers, Google Analytics, etc.
