DOO you have what it takes?

What you'll be working on:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements in payment processing.
  • Handle high-value and urgent payments, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all payment requests, including vendor payment and staff claims.
  • Accurately post payable transactions to support management and financial reporting needs.
  • Review and approve accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness before processing payments.
  • Handle internal and external vendor correspondences via email and provide support to colleagues.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and follow up to resolve them.
  • Update bank transactions daily and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Submit bank balance reports to management on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Compile relevant business documentation for banking processes.
  • Liaise with bankers and payment service providers regarding transactions and operational matters.
  • Perform monthly and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits.
  • Lead and guide junior team members in payment processing best practices.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payment workflows.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for:

  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in payment processing, accounts payable, or treasury functions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes, bank reconciliations, and payment workflows.
  • Experience in handling high-volume transactions and working with multiple payment methods.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel, Word, Accounting Software.
  • Knowledge of Quickbook is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with banking platforms, payment service providers (PSPs), and financial regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability, positive thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Sharp time management skills and work independently.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
  • Team player with leadership skills to guide and support junior team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
