A globally recognized FMCG manufacturer from Europe with a rich heritage and strong presence in international markets is expanding its supply chain operations across the region. To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead logistics, procurement, inventory, and demand planning at a regional level.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to oversee the entire supply chain ecosystem, ensuring efficiency across procurement, logistics, forecasting, inventory control, and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supply Chain & Distribution Management
    1. Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to ensure smooth movement of goods across the region.
    2. Oversee international logistics, import/export procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    3. Collaborate with freight partners, 3PL providers, and vendors to streamline supply chain operations.
    4. Maintain high on-time delivery rates, while balancing cost control and operational efficiency.
    5. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, driving improvements where needed.
    6. Lead procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and third-party manufactured goods.
    7. Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
    8. Oversee inventory planning and replenishment, ensuring that stock levels align with business needs and market demand.
    9. Work closely with internal teams to ensure procurement processes support production and sales requirements.
  2. Production & Inventory Planning
    1. Manage S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) to align forecasting, production capacity, and inventory levels.
    2. Work closely with manufacturing teams to create efficient production schedules that account for demand fluctuations.
    3. Implement inventory control measures to reduce excess stock while preventing shortages.
    4. Ensure that new product launches and modifications are factored into supply chain planning.
  3. Warehouse & Stock Control
    1. Oversee storage, warehouse efficiency, and stock accuracy across different locations.
    2. Implement best practices in inventory management, focusing on cost reduction and process optimization.
    3. Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations and operational efficiency standards.
  4. Leadership & Business Strategy
    1. Lead and develop supply chain teams, including procurement, planning, and inventory management functions.
    2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for cost savings and operational enhancements.
    3. Ensure alignment of supply chain objectives with broader business goals.
    4. Provide training and mentorship to build a high-performance supply chain team.

Key Requirements:Experience & Industry Knowledge:
  1. 8+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
  2. Background in multinational companies, MUST be within the food, beverage, or FMCG sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies.
Technical & Leadership Skills:
  1. Expertise in logistics, inventory control, procurement, and international trade regulations.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  3. Experience with ERP systems
  4. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier negotiations, and optimize operational workflows.
  5. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to interact with senior leadership, suppliers, and logistics partners.
