Description:

This position is the team leader role with responsibility to accelerate Sales, Planning & Execution in Central area coverage.

Key Responsibilities & Performance:

  1. Managing sales and relationships for the assigned area and channels.
  2. Explore and open new retailers according to specific business opportunities criteria.
  3. Account payment status - Collection, Clearance, and Disputes.
  4. Product Returns – Managing expiry / damages / recalls products.
  5. Merchandising – Ensure SubD team carry out Product display and positions in outlets / POSM execution.
  6. New Product Development (NPD) Execution & Pipelining.
  7. Distribution – focus on Core & premium product range/brandtechs.
  8. Project Execution – Perfect Store KPI / Sampling Apps activations.
  9. Working with sales team to achieve the overall Sales & Distribution target for all SubD channels.
  10. Accountable for aligning and motivating sales team (direct & indirect) to achieve period target, building the sales capability of the team, continuous improvement & new business opportunities.
  11. Conduct periodic managerial meetings. Monitor and update the progress of all activities, sales performance status & find solutions to problem areas of the department.
  12. Responsible for managing, building & growing robust relationships with assigned Sub Distributors to maximize sales & distribution opportunities and achieve sales target. Analyze data, distribution drive tracking, resolve key client issues and complaints, new Products Development (NPDs) launches, Premiumization & trade bulletins, etc.
  13. Develop and implement annual Customer Business Plan, Quarterly Business Review / Promotion plan with individual Key customer & Sub-Ds.
  14. Manage outlet operations and execute excellence with proper detailed planning within budget/resources given by managing spending efficiency.
  15. Research and analyze the market to find better business opportunities.
  16. Support in AR meeting – reconcile Disputes.
  17. Monitor Sub D team Perfect Vision achievement.

Job Requirement:

  • Able to speak and read in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese.
  • Own transport with valid driver's license.
  • Familiar with smart mobile devices (Job requires navigating in Apps and webpage).
  • 3 - 5 years FMCG sales experience & people management is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint – required to conduct Business Review.
