Phase 1: Safety Compliance Responsibilities- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations at project sites.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to prevent workplace hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with local laws.
- Maintain and update safety documentation and reports.
- Transition into an engineering role based on qualifications and expertise.
- Assist in technical, project planning, execution, equipment inspection and troubleshooting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and efficiency.
- Continue to ensure workplace safety while fulfilling engineering duties.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Must possess a recognized Safety Certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, DOSH Green Book, NIOSH, or equivalent).
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in workplace safety, preferably in manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of local occupational safety and health regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, or industrial safety.
- Hands-on experience in engineering projects or fieldwork.
- Ability to conduct safety training for employees.
