Join our team as a Junior Field Engineer and be part of exciting projects in the telecom industry. You will install, test, and commission telecommunications equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and provide technical support across various telecommunications systems.
Key responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission telecommunications equipment (VSAT, satellite, fibre & wireless systems)
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot network infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues
- Support project implementation, site surveys, and system integration
- Monitor system performance and prepare technical reports
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors during project execution
- Provide technical support to customers when required
Based in Penang
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant field experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications systems and networking
- Willing to travel and work on-site at various locations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
