Our Company is currently expanding We are looking for aspiring individuals to join our team as a Credit Control Executive. You play an important role in supporting credit control related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily updating of receipt bank books with collections.
  • Ensure all payments are verified and updated by Finance.
  • Identify unknown receipt payments and notify Finance to update.
  • Manage the timely and effective collection of all outstanding and payment within credit term.
  • Matching official receipt at each debtor account in system.
  • Monitor and recover account receivables, minimize bad debt write off and achieve target.
  • Accountable to approach customers for payments of upcoming outstanding or overdue outstanding by way of phone-calls and send reminder email.
  • Responding and resolving customer queries and problems in relation to invoice payments promptly.
  • Excellent in communicate with various departments resolve customer's issues in an efficient yet friendly manner.
  • Establish policies that follow customer service best practices while ensuring customers submit payments on time.
  • Create and maintain effective payment procedures and policies.
  • To escalate and work in manager & sales team to resolve customers disputes & late payment.
  • To unblock those overdue debtor account according to term/ limit SOP to enable order release smoothly.
  • Prepare weekly aging report to highlight any payment issues to management and the sales team.
  • Preparing and sending credit notes to customer.
  • Forward account statements to customer before 05th of the month.
  • Prepare management report by weekly/monthly.
  • Reprint invoice and statement as per customer request.
  • Preparing reports on monthly credit reports and relevant statistics for Managements review.
  • Ensure invoice & credit note amount has captured correctly in correspondence ledger account.
  • Housekeeping for existing debtor account has no transaction incurred > 1 year annually.
  • Responding on the customer request of audit confirmation related.
  • Managing new requests for credit, assessing credit applications and determining the applicant's eligibility.
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers.
  • Review data update for revised debtor detail and necessary supporting attached together before submit to get management approval.
  • To provide the professional advice on the revision of term or limit matters to sales team.
  • Create new debtor detail and update any revise debtor detail in Master System upon approval received.
  • Follow up on data collection which used for E-invoicing implements, apply for Malaysia customers.
  • Monitoring and recovering of predominantly aged debt.
  • Filling the credit note after issuance promptly.
  • Recommend and propose action for defaulted cases.
  • Improve collection efficiency and receivables.
  • Familiar with Hypermarket B2B system is preferable.
  • Any ad hoc and new tasks as assigned by his/her superior deemed as necessary from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Min 2 years in AR/Credit Control function.
  • Preferably executives/senior executives specializing in Credit Control or equivalent.
  • Good command in written and spoken Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, discipline and meticulous.
  • Responsible, independent, positive working attitude and able to work in team.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to start work immediately or with short notice.

  • Responsible & detail-oriented.
  • Ability to deal with problematic customer.
  • Able to multitasks and intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages.
  • Debt recovery management.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to priorities a demanding workload.
