About the Job
This critical commercial role acts as the primary relationship driver and strategic partner for major electronic manufacturing accounts strictly localized to the Penang market. You will defend existing business against key market competitors while partnering directly with technical factory heads to qualify new materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and protect revenue streams within established Tier‑1 electronics manufacturer accounts and local channel distribution networks.
- Serve as the main commercial point of contact for factory production lines, resolving operational material issues quickly.
- Execute defensive sales strategies to prevent market share loss to aggressive specialty chemical competitors.
- Collaborate with internal application and process engineers to align client roadmaps with advanced product offerings.
- Administer localized sales programs and contract pricing negotiations to reliably hit annual revenue and margin targets.
- Coordinate market data updates with remote regional sales leadership based across Southeast Asia.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record in business development or technical sales within the PCB fabrication or semiconductor packaging (OSAT) sectors.
- Strong baseline knowledge in mechanical, chemical, or electronics manufacturing processes to comfortably advise factory floor engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high‑value corporate accounts independently with minimal day‑to‑day oversight.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with regional partners and dominant industry suppliers.
Qualifications & Education
Education: Associate Degree/Diploma.
