Job Description
At Aurorise AI, we help Malaysian businesses grow smarter using AI automation — from dental clinics to automotive dealerships and everything in between. We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer who doesn't just understand AI — but knows how to put it to real use. This is not a research role. You'll be building, deploying, and improving AI-powered systems that solve real business problems for real clients.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy: AI agents, chatbots, and automation workflows for SME clients across Malaysia.
- Integrate AI tools: (LLMs, voice agents, RAG pipelines) into CRM platforms and business systems.
- Build and maintain: Knowledge bases, prompt templates, and AI training datasets.
- Work closely with delivery: Turn client briefs into working AI solutions — fast.
- Test and evaluate: Continuously improve AI outputs for accuracy, tone, and performance.
- Identify opportunities: Automate repetitive tasks and create measurable value for clients.
- Stay up to date: Keep up with the latest AI tools and bring the best ones to the team.
What We're Looking For
- AI Foundations: Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
- Automation Tools: Hands‑on experience with automation tools like Make.com, Zapier, n8n, or similar
- Integration Skills: Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and integrating AI into third‑party platforms
- Communication: Strong communicator who can explain technical ideas to non‑technical clients
- Ownership Mindset: Self‑starter who takes ownership and follows through
Skills & Tools
- Good to have: RAG & Vector Databases, Voice AI, Langchain/LlamaIndex, No‑code/Low‑code tools, Bilingual (EN & ZH)
- Impact-driven — care whether your work changes something
- Curious — experiment, try new tools, learn fast
- Ownership mindset — follow through, don't drop the ball
- Builder instinct — ship, not just talkTeam player — share knowledge, make others better
- Business‑minded — think about outcomes, not just tech stacks
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field (or higher). Equivalent experience + strong portfolio will also be considered.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in AI development or automation. Fresh graduates with strong project work or internship experience are welcome.
