The Senior Manager - Finance is a role responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This includes tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. Also to ensure the company's financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Strategic Financial Management
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals.
    • Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
  2. Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
    • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision making.
    • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
    • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Oversee the preparation of management reports, board reports, and other financial documentation.
    • Identify and manage financial risks, including currency and interest rate risks.
    • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  3. Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
    • Develop and manage investment strategies.
    • Optimize capital structure and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  4. Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
    • Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources.
  5. Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
    • Communicate financial results and strategies to the board of directors and investors.
    • Represent the company in financial negotiations and discussions.
  6. Market and Competitive Analysis
    • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies.
    • Identify financial opportunities and risks.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Min 7 years and above proven experience as a Senior Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Strong understanding of financial management software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
