Job Description

  1. Preparing quotations, and tender rates, and attending to business inquiries from customers or agents.
  2. Handling customer inquiries and orders relating to export and import air and sea shipments in terms of booking, documentation, and other related tasks.
  3. Sourcing and negotiating rates from various vendors efficiently to meet customers' requests a/o deadline. Maximize business profitability.
  4. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  5. Identifying and resolving any customer service issues promptly and professionally.
  6. Building sustainable relationships with customers through open and interactive communication.
  7. Providing support and guidance to junior members of the customer service team.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role within the shipping/freight forwarding industry.
  3. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  5. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  6. Strong communication in Mandarin (preferably but not compulsory), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
