The ideal candidate will play a critical role in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and efficient logistics solutions while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers and service providers in the logistics space (transportation, warehousing, customs, etc.).
  2. Procurement Process: Develop and submit purchasing requests in accordance with procurement guidelines and engage the procurement team for contract initiation and renewals.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with logistics service providers to ensure favorable conditions, pricing, and service levels.
  4. Performance Evaluation: Monitor and analyze vendor performance to ensure service agreements are met and recommend improvements or corrective actions when necessary.
  5. Billing & Compliance: Validate and approve billing from logistics vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
  6. Supplier Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with logistics service providers to ensure consistent service delivery and identify opportunities for cost reduction or process optimization.
  7. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on logistics spending, vendor performance, and service delivery.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics services.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    3. Knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management, and procurement best practices.
    4. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  4. Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze supplier performance, contracts, and logistics costs to make data-driven decisions.
  5. Experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
  6. Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain-focused role.
  7. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
