Civil Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to support civil engineering, maintenance, infrastructure, and project activities. The role will provide technical support in the planning, inspection, supervision, and execution of civil works to ensure infrastructure is safe, reliable, and maintained to the required standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Project, Contractors, and other technical teams to ensure civil works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and Company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for civil engineering, maintenance, infrastructure, and project activities.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor civil maintenance, repair, and construction works.

Conduct site inspections and assess the condition of buildings, structures, foundations, roads, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure.

Review civil drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documentation.

Assist in identifying structural and civil-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure civil works are completed according to approved requirements.

Monitor work progress, quality, materials, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.

Assist in preparing work scopes, technical reports, cost estimates, material requirements, and project documentation.

Support project planning, site coordination, and progress monitoring for civil works.

Ensure civil activities comply with HSSE, QA/QC, regulatory, and Company requirements.

Participate in site inspections, technical meetings, audits, and project coordination activities.

Support Continuous Improvement initiatives related to civil infrastructure and maintenance.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification.

Experience in civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, maintenance, or industrial projects will be an advantage.

Good understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and maintenance requirements.

Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.

Good knowledge of site inspection, quality control, and construction supervision.

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Able to work independently and effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Willing to work at operational and project sites when required.
