Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Assembly Technician (Electrical) at SAM Meerkat. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling electrical components, using hand tools, soldering, and performing mechanical assembly. The role also involves using power tools, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring that all assemblies meet the required specifications. This is an on-site position located in Bayan Lepas.

Qualifications

  • Hand Tools, Soldering, and Power Tools proficiency
  • Experience in Electrical Assembly, like control cabinet, ability to assemble electrical components and system according to specifications.
  • Quality Control skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or training in electrical assembly is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
