Job Description

The Team

The Architecture team at SEEK is made up of 3 domains: Customer, Platform, and Growth & Incubation. The Customer team enables efficient customer value by aligning the architecture strategy for the end-to-end customer journey with product ambitions. The Customer Team supports the effective delivery of SEEK's objectives by designing platform capabilities that can be easily leveraged across the organisation. Growth supports SEEK's incubation and adjacent businesses by designing technology solutions that enable velocity delivery and growth whilst aligning to SEEK's Technology Strategy. Currently, we have 20 people in Australia and 4 in Kuala Lumpur.

About The Role

The Architecture Hub Lead is a key role in the Technology team reporting to the APAC Architecture Practice Manager. Accountable for uplifting Architecture Practices within the team and for maintaining the 'Architecture Hub'. The Architecture Hub is a group of tools and integrations that help SEEK make strategic business and technology decisions. Jira is used to prioritise work and LeanIX has recently been implemented for Enterprise Architecture management. The mission of the Architecture Hub Lead is to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of the architecture hub within SEEK by leading the prioritisation, project management, stakeholder management, training and support, architecture governance, and continuous improvement efforts. The goal of this role is to enable SEEK to effectively manage its enterprise architecture and drive business value through the use of Jira, LeanIX and the broader Architecture tools and practices.

  • Chief Architect and Heads of Architecture
  • Principal, Solution and Software Architects
  • The Engineering and Delivery community at SEEK
  • Business and Product Stakeholders in line with the portfolios of work

Responsibilities

  • Prioritisation - be responsible for facilitating the prioritisation of all Architecture work using Agile and Lean approaches in tools such as Jira and Miro.
  • Project Management - Managing the operational state of the Architecture Hub (LeanIX and its integrations). This includes defining project scope, creating project plans, coordinating with partners, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Work closely with partners across SEEK to understand their requirements and ensure that the implementation of LeanIX architecture hub meets their needs. This includes building strong relationships with partners, managing expectations, and communicating project and systems updates effectively to hundreds of users of LeanIX.
  • Providing training and support to users of LeanIX and the Architecture Hub, including developing documentation and ongoing support.
  • Analysing business requirements and finding opportunities to use LeanIX and the broader 'Architecture Hub' to drive business value.
  • Ensuring that the use of LeanIX architecture hub aligns with the organization's architecture governance framework.
  • Continuously improving the implementation and use of LeanIX architecture hub within the organization.
  • Tooling and resources – Drive strategy development, proof of concepts, and implementation of tools and other resources needed by Architecture.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Real world experience designing or implementing enterprise architecture tooling or practices that enable a business to make faster, safer, cheaper decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation to closure.
  • Ability to prepare clear communications to broad audiences of end users.
  • Ability to work with software systems and tools in an admin role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with partners.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve problems.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead a team and motivate others.

  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience using an enterprise architecture tool like LeanIX.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple partners.
  • Experience of agile principles and practices.
  • Experience with lean principles and practices.
  • Experience in business change management rollout.
  • Experience facilitating workshops.
