RESPONSIBILITY

  • On Call Support: Monitor, Analyze and Resolve SAP issues reported by worldwide FG users with agreed response timing. Escalate urgent and complex issues to IT and work with IT and users to drive for resolution with root cause analysis.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in key projects driven by FG management or with cross-functional teams. Gather user requirements, understand processes, and provide advice.
  • SAP Enhancements: Work as a liaison between FG process leaders and IT on SAP system enhancements, including gathering user requirements and providing support on feasibility studies and case ranking. Provide the best course of action to improve business functions and needs.
  • Perform Testing: As part of project or enhancement work, work with IT to perform System Testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with proper recording of results.
  • User Training and Support: Provide effective training and support to end-users to ensure they can use the system efficiently, especially when dealing with a large number of users.
  • Configuration Support: Own and be responsible for support of the SAP meta-data and configuration tables related to Finished Goods.
  • Reporting Solutions: Provide reporting solutions and analytics for WW Finished Goods operations.
  • Documentation: Participate in process/system designs and document system logic, transaction code functionalities, and local business processes.
  • Other project tasks as assigned, e.g., analytics, perform SAP security, mapping process flows.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Sound knowledge of Order to Cash process, Material Master data, shipping documents, order types, and STO specifically in the area of FG and Logistics.
  • Experience in managing SAP Config tables.
  • Basic knowledge in debugging and ABAP database tables.
  • Good process knowledge of SD module.
  • Experience in implementing S4 Hana SRM/EWM will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-8 years of relevant experience working on SAP. Remuneration will be pegged to experience.
  • May be required to standby on some weekends to support WW Distribution operations and project rollouts.

Location:

  • MMP Penang, but may be required to station at vendor's location to support and roll out SAP enhancements and projects.
