Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Continue to improve manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality.
Analyze, investigate and solve manufacturing process issues. Follow up and troubleshoot together with line technicians if any abnormality is found.
Lead continuous improvement projects such as cost reduction, quality, and productivity improvement (increase product yield/reduce scrap).
Responsible for new process and new product trial runs.
Establish training documents such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI), Plating Process Specification (PPS), and One Point Lesson (OPL).
Educate and train production technicians and operators in following proper manufacturing procedures.
Update yield report for machines in charge and prepare report for monthly meetings.
Responsible for the line's Au consumption (mainly for Au overusage).
Responsible for the defective reel disposition:
- Analyze, verify, and reply to the NCIR issued by QA and Line Leader.
- Re-sample the defective reel for analysis and disposition.
- Develop the rework or sorting standard.
Work with QA on product quality-related matters (especially customer feedback).
Responsible for verification and giving the green light for the line to run after dumping.
Rotating weekend production line support (production line-related issues or Au top-up).
Handle other tasks and duties when requested by a superior.
Authorities:
Top up gold.
Stop line when quality-related issues occur.
Update and revise Plating Process Specification (PPS), machine checklist, and parameter setting in the plating process.
Requirement:
- Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering or Science
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of related working experience
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply
- Dispensable and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- AL: 12 days, increasing gradually based on company policy.
