About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account & Admin Assistant to join our team at Permas Jaya, Johor.

This is a full-time position responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. You will work closely with the finance and sales teams to support the company's financial processes and contribute to the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Handle and support daily accounting operations, ensuring all accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained.

Update and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) records, including monitoring outstanding balances and collections.

Work closely with the Sales Department to ensure daily sales collections are deposited into the bank on time.

Prepare commission reports, collection updates, and other Accounts Receivable (AR) reports.

Perform general administrative duties, including procurement of office supplies, filing, and document verification.

Conduct stock takes and assist in inventory control.

Support the implementation and processing of Malaysia's e-Invoice requirements and other finance-related activities.

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.

Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. AutoCount).

Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsible, well-organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Able to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.

Able to understand and communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, as the role requires interaction with customers, internal team members, and management.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
