Thus, we are looking for a Backend Engineer Intern to:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate backend functionalities with AI-driven solutions.
  • Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.
  • Implement and maintain secure and efficient database structures (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards and best practices.
  • Document code and technical processes for future reference.
Job Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one web framework (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI).
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how they work.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ability to write basic queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Bonus: Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance from mentors.
  • Must be willing to work in a highly dynamic and challenging tech company environment.
