Talent Acquisition @ Qi Group | Recruitment, HRThe Payroll Executive is responsible for managing and executing payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation. The individual will handle payroll reconciliation and resolve discrepancies (if any). Key responsibilities also involve managing employee compensation records, processing statutory deductions, and collaborating with the HR team to address payroll-related queries. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of payroll practices are essential.
- To ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Perform calculations with wages, benefits, incentives, bonuses, taxes, and other deductions.
- Prepare monthly wages, wire transfers, and/or cash deposits.
- Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain and update all aspects of payroll information.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Maintain payroll operations in accordance with policies and procedures, and recommend changes and improvements.
- Generate periodic payroll reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) to track payroll metrics and for review by management.
- Liaise with the respective government statutory bodies for matters related to EPF, SOCSO, and Income Tax.
- Attend to employee inquiries on payroll-related issues.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax filing documentation, Form E, and Form EA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 2-3 years of relevant payroll work experience.
- Hands-on experience in managing global payroll would be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to organize and analyze data.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
