The primary role of Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble and pack products. Key deliverables include managing the day-to-day production & planning functions for manufacturing whilst supporting changing demands. Programming, set-up, and monitoring of the production equipment/processes and performing assembly operations. Performing Quality control checks of Incoming and finished goods. Ensuring compliance to ResMed's Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements.

  • The primary objective of Manufacturing Technician (PA) specialization within Production & Assembly Job Family is to provide support for tooling, plant and equipment in the factory by completing maintenance activities and documenting manufacturing equipment calibration systems.
  • Key responsibilities include determining and assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Support roles consist of work in a:
  • clerical, administrative or specialized support tasks in an office or field setting.
  • specialized technical tasks or skilled craft work.
  • unskilled or semi-skilled operational tasks.
  • Has completed vocational training or obtained equivalent experience.
  • Interacts internally to exchange information.
  • Informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Works independently, likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

  • Diploma in any maintenance and manufacturing discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Has detailed knowledge of procedures and his/her administration, uses initiative to handle a wide variety of non-routine situations and conflicts.
  • Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
