We are seeking a highly motivated Admin cum Account Executive (Costing) to join our finance team at Baba Products (M) Sdn Bhd in Selayang, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support with a focus on cost accounting.

What you'll be doing
  • Prepare and maintain the Annual Sales Budget by regions, branches, and products.
  • Prepare the Budgeted Manufacturing Statement, Budgeted Profit & Loss Accounts & Tax estimation based on Annual Operation Plan.
  • Overall in charge of OPEX and CAPEX Internal Orders in SAP system.
  • Verify & monitor material consumptions & wastages by the production department and escalate to superior if consumption/wastage is abnormally high.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process for the costing department by running Cost Allocation & COPA.
  • Assist in company stock take by conducting the physical count and comparing the physical quantity with the book record. If any variances, report to immediate superior.
  • Monitor monthly sales performance of the company by branches, regions, and products.
  • Maintain & periodic review of the company's profitability and financial ratio analysis.
  • Maintain & periodic review of the Top customer lists.
  • Propose process improvement on the product cost allocation and other financial processes. Other ad hoc assignments from superior and management.
What we're looking for
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate/Degree in Finance / Accounting and equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Knowledge of SAP Finance (FICO) will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in the food industry is a plus.
  • Possess a positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent results in Mathematics with a background in manufacturing and product costing.
