** To act as Advisor to support Global Logistics Operations team, to advise or provide solutions when unexpected issue occur. **(This is not a day-to-day logistics operations position)
- To design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research, the development of business processes to **monitor key market and technology trends** in **transportation**, the development and validation of specific **transportation strategies**, and **evaluation and resolution** of ad hoc issues with carriers and suppliers. **To analyze 3PL suppliers, to identify the best options and to suggest to Operations team. (Best routine/ cost effectiveness)**
- To lead **logistics optimization and improvement projects **(including freight optimization, warehousing and distribution initiatives etc) with functional global and country representatives along with other functional leads and stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- To develop and implement robust and, often, novel, analytical approaches to support the global supply chain transportation strategy development and decision making toward our pursuit of lower total cost and greater carrier value contribution.
- Provide analytical intelligence in support of integration with global transportation.
- Conduct discrete analysis of transportation modes and cost structures, including creating indices to assess and forecast the economic impact of fuel surcharges on transportation budgets.
- **Drive Request for Proposals (RFPs) for supplier evaluation and selection**, including supporting the development and refinement of specific strategies through spend analysis, risk assessment, supplier evaluation and countries’ feedback.
- Lead **logistics optimization and improvement projects end-to-end** which includes but not limited to:

- Prepare project plan, schedule & budget.
- Direct project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, developing and executing contingency plans.
- Communicate project status & progress to project stakeholders.
- Support & drive Regional and Global Logistic Projects/Initiatives roll out to APAC countries.
- Drive and implement proactive measures in resolving and improving recurring logistics matters and work with relevant parties to address, implement and monitor the corrective processes/action implemented to ensure effectiveness for preventing/minimizing future occurrence.
- Development of business processes to design, capture, and monitor dashboard metrics for transportation as well as measure transportation performance relative to external benchmarks.
- Gather and synthesize carrier performance in support of **Supplier Performance.**:

- Drive and implement APAC logistics process harmonization in preparation for Magellan S4 Hana APAC implementation.
- Business Reviews; assure efficient and effective information management processes and tools.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in supply chain with at least 7-10 years of experience in logistics operation (transportation and warehousing) required.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes and systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills.
- Demonstrated operational excellence (Lean/ Sigma) experience with any formal accreditation a bonus.
- Project management experience with formal accreditation is a plus.
- Familiarity of MedTech industry will be advantageous.
- Ability to navigate a cross matrixed and diverse environment.
- Enjoy being part of a highly diversified workforce and working across different time zones.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
