**Our Client an APAC MNC Organization is looking Passionate Accountant to join them and be based in the Pasir Gudang, Johor office..**

**The New Role**

**You will be responsible in oversee the regional general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the financial transactions.**

**This exciting new role requires you to liaise with international stakeholders from 9 countries across the globe. This role gives you an opportunity to travel once a month to these regions. How exciting**

**Compensation range from: RM 84, 0000 TO RM 108,000 Per Annum. You will receive 1 month contractual/Fixed bonus or 13 month salary**

**What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)**
- Oversee accounting and develop to maintain appropriate accounting policies and procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure appropriate internal controls aimed at ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency of the financial information submitted to the Head office and top management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to local accounting and tax policies.
- Support and educate the accounting organization on new accounting pronouncements impacting the company’s financial statements.
- Provide hands-on advisory to a local accountant in APAC branches.
- Provide training and support to newly set up branches or trading units in the APAC region.
- Back up the local accountant when the team members are absent from work.
- Make sure accurate and timely Monthly reporting submit to the Head office, by balancing between internal requirements and service contracts signed with an external consultant.
- Liaise with an external consultant and external auditor.
- Prepare Yearly budget as per instruction

**What we are looking for (Key Requirements)**
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accountancy
- 3 - 5 years of minimum finance experience with relevant experience dealing with APAC region
- Flexible to travel across APAC regions
- Must have excellent fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with regional level stakeholders
- Familiar with SAP/ERP systems
- Involved in system migration would be a good to have
- Meticulous, dedicated with a high sense of responsibility
- Only Malaysian need to apply
