We are looking for a Finance Intern to support the Finance Lead based in RedQ, Sepang and also Wisma Tune, KL.

**Allowance: RM1000/ monthly**

Overview: As an Accounts Payable Intern, you will be an integral part of our Finance team, gaining hands-on experience in the accounts payable processes of a dynamic and growing organization. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial management, data analysis, and business operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

Invoice Processing:

- Assist in the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Verify invoice details, including accuracy of amounts, terms, and vendor information.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.

Vendor Management:

- Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in the onboarding of new vendors, including verification of documentation.

Expense Report Processing:

- Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
- Verify receipts and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Data Entry and Analysis:

- Enter financial data into accounting software with a high level of accuracy.
- Generate reports and assist in analyzing data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.

Month-end Reconciliation:

- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing and Receiving, to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to process improvements.

Ad-hoc Projects:

- Assist in special projects as assigned by the Finance team.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for process enhancements.

**Requirements**:
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

- Strong financial knowledge and technical fluency.
- Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Is a speedster and fast thinker - able to solve problems on-the-go and adapt quickly.
- A team player, willing to multitask where additional help is required and communicate well with the team members.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides), and other useful financial software is a plus.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Has/pursuing a degree in Accounting / Finance or Professional Accountancy Qualification (eg: ACCA/CPA Australia/MICPA, ICAEW)
- Fluency in English and at least another local language is a plus
