Installation Technician

**Main Purpose of Role**:_ **(Why) **_

The main purpose of this role is to ensure product hardware are installed, configured and serviced adequately to ensure optimum performance. This is a hands-on role with requirement to travel frequently to be on-site for all installation & maintenance jobs. In doing so the Installation Technician will be responsible for:
1. Installation of all hardware per project requirement

2. Configuration of product accordingly to specifications

3. Replacement of damaged hardware components when necessary

4. Uninstallation of all hardware components at the end of trials with potential clients

5. Support product team for product development, customization, and new product testing

6. Planned preventive maintenance with clients according to company SOP

7. Troubleshooting product issues independently / with support

8. Completing site service report and project documentation as necessary

9. Perform other administrative duties as necessary

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:_**(Indicate mandatory or preferred)**_

1. Malaysian ONLY

2. Computer literate - mandatory

3. Engineering or Technical educational background is beneficial

4. Experience with site work / vehicle in-cabin electrical wiring is beneficial

5. Demonstrated technical and troubleshooting skills

6. Demonstrated customer service experience

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

8. At least 5 years of experience working at site

9. Able to produce site installation reports according to company format

10. Possess own transportation

1. Willing to travel at short notice.

2. Willing to work on weekend when required.

3. Ability to work effectively in a team and respond cooperatively to the requirements of other company members.

4. Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

5. Ability to operate and plan in a rapidly changing environment.

6. Ability and desire to continuously learn new skills.

7. Active in sports / outdoors oriented is a favoured attribute.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
